Android 4.0.4, eh?
If there’s something that really gets my blood boiling it’s seeing articles about Android 4.0.4 rolling out. I think Jason Perlow couldn’t have put it better in his article - I’m sick to death of Android published in ZDNet yesterday. He couldn’t have expressed my sentiments more exactly.  [Which I mentioned in a previous post of mine.] How is it possible that 4.0.4...

Event: Does your PaaS pass the bar? →
cloudifysource: The great promise of cloud computing is arguably agility, elasticity and commoditization of hardware resources. To realize these benefits, provisioning bare operating system is not enough – organizations and developers often find themselves looking for more agile ways to deploy their applications on the cloud, without bothering with low level OS, network and storage details. PaaS...

I love discovering time and again how strong gorilla glass is when I aggressively drop my phone on the floor (and then accidentally step on it) - especially after seeing two broken iPhone screens just this week.

Milk Inc. Staff Snatched Up by Google. The plot...
If previously, I was only somewhat interested in what Milk does, and why Google Ventures was interested enough to invest in them (which I just assumed was because of Kevin Rose - also the founder of Digg.com), well now that Google has apparently snatched them up I’m indeed intrigued. From their tweets I just figured they’re another mobile game. developer - and didn’t really think...

I'm really loving Tumblr...Except
My only gripes are: a) When posting from my mobile none of the line breaks are recognized - and it’s a bit hard to read on a desktop.  If you’re on a mobile it’s a non-issue, but from a desktop, looks like the writer is super low-tech. Annoying. EDIT: Apparently this has to do with your theme.  New theme - and voila - line breaks. b) I don’t understand how to add a...

Ivan the Terrible Demjanjuk dies aged 91  →
Ivan the Terrible Demjanjuk dies at the age of 91, following a for the most part, happy and fulfilling life survived by loving family, children, and grandchildren, and the corker, in terms of irony, remembered by all. Who can say the same about the 27,000+ Jews he murdered as a vicious, sadistic guard at Sobibor and Majdanek???

IBM gets ambitious eh?
Apparently IBM is setting its sights on a few Israeli companies its interested in acquiring. Now this is a strange story - not because of its unlikelihood - but rather because of the size and caliber of companies on the list - including Nice, Check Point, Amdocs, and some others. These aren’t small startups just looking for an M&A opp - these are the largest and most well established...

An app to rule them all.
How have I not started using this app earlier?? I always have more to say than just 140 characters. I like my pictures to be seen - not randomly linked to. I like to post from my mobile phone. Random shit. I like people to be aware of my psychosis all in one place. So goodbye Google+ / Blogger / Twitpic / Moblis of the world. Here it comes. Semantics and all - I just wish it...

Android blues.
It’s no secret that I prefer everything Android stands for over demonic Apple. But come on already. I find myself downloading every new keyboard, Twitter app, and camera app that come out - just because I still haven’t found that perfect app yet. Android isn’t just a budding platform anymore or a passing trend. It’s here to stay. Come on devs - get with the friggin...

I totally see myself getting excited about Tumblr for one week - then forgetting about it. But I finally effing get it!! That’s it! There are just so many social media platforms out there - it’s like choosing the shoe that fits. Like ok - some billions of people choose Nike & Facebook, and others choose Tumblr & Brooks. (Mix and match as you please). (Not sure how I...
